Watergrass and Foreign Grass Weed Control

June 29, 2012 by chanshareadmin 13 Comments

In this video Randy discusses how to deal with Watergrass.

Key Points:
1. Watergrass usually shows up in newly planted sod when the temperature is above 85 degrees.
2. If you continue your regular maintenance program the first frost will kill off the watergrass.
3. Crabgrass controlling herbicides with the chemical Quinclorac are effective on Watergrass.
4. Spot treating the areas that have watergrass is recommended.
