Chanshare Sod’s Different Seed Blends

All of Chanshare Sod is blended to produce the best cool-season grass for the Intermountain region.  All our turf is formulated specifically for this region and when maintained properly is extremely water-wise.  Click on the links below to learn more about our different types of sod.

Royal Blue – Sports Turf – A higher plant population, rigorous seed blend, and sandy loam soil make this perfect for sports fields or high traffic areas.

Imperial Blue – Residential Turf – Wear tolerance, early green, and lower watering requirements make this turf perfect for residential landscapes.

Desert Green – 5+ year growth with no overseeding makes this mature blend our most drought tolerant sod.  Desert Green can be maintained on as little at 17″ of watering and two mowings per season.

Desert Gold – Native blend of Crested Wheatgrass. Extremely low water and maintenance requirements. Suited for conservation and to create depth and design.

Prestige Pro Golf – Custom seed blend allows us to grow turf specifically for your golf course.  Each Prestige Pro Golf field is tailored to your course requirements including seed blend, maintenance, fertilization, harvest and installation.
